Mike Cronan
Mike Cronan, VP Sales, joined MGA in March 2010. Prior to joining MGA, Mike spent 4 years managing content sales for Money-Media, a Financial Times company, in the mutual fund, asset management, institutional investment and corporate governance segments. During that time, Mike’s focus was on sales for new business and renewals as well as ticket sales for conferences, doubling revenue over that time period. Prior to Money-Media, Michael has spent over 16 years working at B to B media companies such as Wolters Kluwer, ALM, McGraw-Hill, Thompson, and Ziff-Davis where he held a progressive series of sales and marketing positions. Mike holds a BA in Marketing from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Tugba Colpan
Tugba Colpan, Director of Sales - Emerging Markets, joined MGA in August 2006. Prior to joining MGA, Tugba spent over five years in institutional sales for Eurasia Group in New York, focusing on global emerging markets. Previously, she managed marketing relationships for two German media companies in London, assisting them in adapting to the UK marketplace. Tugba holds a Master's Degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a B.A. from Ankara University.
Robert J. Hanney
Robert J. Hanney, Director of Sales, joined MGA with over 13 years experience working on Wall St. as a retail broker and securities principal. After initially working with various retail brokerages in the late 80’s and early 90’s, Robert opened his own firm where he ran the retail brokerage side and was the firm’s operating principal. By the late 90’s, Robert’s entrepreneurial pursuits included leaving Wall St. to become the co-president of a manufacturing company in the construction products field. Robert returns to the financial filed with an additional 7 years of direct sales and operational experience added to his resume.
Jeeway Kan
Jeeway Kan, Associate Director of Business Development, joined MGA in May 2010. Prior to joining MGA, Jeeway spent over two years in sales and account management for Euromoney Institutional Investor in New York City, focused in conference and subscription sales for institutional clients, including hedge funds, asset managers and public pensions. Previously, she successfully managd her owned business in patent representation, and also worked pro bono for local non-profit organizations. Jeeway holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in Law and Society from UC San Diego in La Jolla, CA. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Alex Wark
Alex Wark, Director of Sales - G7 Macro Markets, serves MGA’s European client base from our office in London. He joined MGA with business development experience at Eurasia Group and Capital Economics, organizations offering consultancy and publications in the macroeconomic and emerging markets political stability assessment arenas. Mr. Wark holds a degree in Social Sciences from South Bank University, London.
